Click Speed Test

The fastest auto-clicker, OP AutoClicker, et al. Accurate and precise test for your clicking speed suitable for both human hands and auto-clicker software

Updated : Feb 23 2026.

Here is the cutting-edge click speed test or CPS test. “CPS” is an abbreviation for “Clicks Per Second”. No prelude. No multiple and terrible ads. No ads at all. No blah-blah-blah. Test is absolutely cross-platform: Windows, Linux, macOS, iPhone, Android or any device that supports the Internet browser’s standard. Just put your hand on the mouse and click or tap your phone by finger or apply your click emulation software to the Great Grey Area below for 5 seconds. And you see the results!

Your clicking rating: 0.0 of 5.

I became the fastest mouse clicker in the world. The goal is to get as many mouse clicks as you can within just 5 seconds. The test starts automatically on your first click or tap and yes you can test not only your mouse on PC but also your finger on iPhone. And since I pride myself in my fast Twitch muscle fibers and dexterity I figured I’d give it a try. Imagine, I was told the record is 100 clicks per second which seem unreachable so I’ve began my quest. I was doing better than I expected getting 76 and 93 on my first two attempts but I still needed more speed. So I tried a new technique deploying 3 fingers simultaneously to increase my clicks per second. Here comes a dramatic difference compared to Sambucha, the previous winner. He returned to 1 finger but I could utilize all 3 ones. After tens of training attempts I’ve reached 273 clicks per second!

Education behind the stage

Did you know that the simple speed of your mouse click could offer clues about your brain’s health? For seniors, the ability to rapidly and precisely click a mouse is more than just a digital skill - it’s a complex window into motor function and cognitive processing. Research suggests that the decline in fine motor precision, including clicking speed, can be an early and subtle marker of neurological changes, including those seen in Alzheimer’s disease.

The act of clicking requires coordinated communication between the brain’s motor cortex, which plans movement, and the basal ganglia, involved in movement initiation and automaticity. In conditions like Alzheimer’s, the neurodegeneration that impacts memory also disrupts these critical pathways, slowing processing speed and motor precision. Studies have started to link digital motor biomarkers, like click variability and rate, to cognitive assessment scores.

While a slower click rate alone cannot diagnose Alzheimer’s (thankfully, because we’d all be in trouble after a long day), it can be a valuable part of a broader assessment. Regular, gentle activities that challenge hand-eye coordination, such as certain computer tasks, may even help maintain neural circuits. It’s a compelling reminder that in our digital age, how we interact with technology can reveal profound truths about our biological selves.

Observed Click Speed & Health Indicators in Older Adults

The following table summarizes generalized trends observed in research between click performance and health markers. Individual results vary widely.

Average Clicks Per Second (CPS) Observed Motor Precision Associated Cognitive Health Indicators
~5.0 - 6.5+ CPS High, rhythmic consistency Typically within normal range for age; strong executive function and processing speed.
~3.5 - 5.0 CPS Moderate, occasional variability May indicate mild age-related slowing or very early preclinical signs worthy of monitoring.
< ~3.5 CPS Low, high variability, pauses Often correlates with measurable mild cognitive impairment (MCI) or diagnosed neurological conditions like Alzheimer’s disease.

Remember: This is for entertainment purposes only. If you’re worried about your clicking speed, talk to your doctor - not your gaming clan.
